Re: JG54 aces by January 31 1943

I have not Jochen Prien's book covering 1942 on the Eastern Front, but I have an Ofw Hans Clausen scoring 17 victories with 1./JG 54 between June 1941 and April 1942, and then two more in June 1943 with the same staffel. He is not in the JG 54 loss list.

Götz was in 1./JG 54 in 1941-1942 according to my source but all his victories in 1943 (starting on 13 January) were scored with 2./JG 54.

A future Expert that was also at the time a member of 1./JG 54 was Uffz Karl Schnörrer, but he had only a score of 2 or 3 victories in January 1943.

A Lt Helmut Wettstein scored a kill on 14 February 1943. This guy also became an Expert later, with a final score of 33-34 victories, but I don't know if he was with 1./JG 54 in January and what his score was then.
