Hi guys, I'm trying to determine the colours on the border of this Stab Jg 1 emblem. It looks to me that the border consisted of 2 separate coloured segments divided diagonally. Many renditions of this emblem have the colours as either green or red or just black. Does anyone have any information as to what colours were actually used and whether they might have changed at all throughout the life span of the emblem. Any help would be greatly appreciated on this matter. The colours are very difficult to determine from the known black and white photos of the emblem. Going on the attached photo it appears that one of the colours looks to be the same as the eagle device in the middle. Usually depicted as red? so what could the other colour be?
