That fit with his logbook where the "german" entries by the 1./ JG 232 ends in the beginning of September 1936 (08.09.1936). The next "german" entries are from
May 1937 (10.05.1037) not August (like in the Doug Stankey files). The squadron leader of 1./ JG 232 wrote in the log that he was sended to spain.
