The QM 6 has the following information regarding the incident in which he was killed:

16 April 1943: Oberleutnant Rudolf Trenn of I./SKG 10 killed in Fw 190 A-5 (W.Nr. 0150 846) in collision on take-off at Poix-Nord airfield, 100%
16 April 1943: Fw 190 A-5 (W.Nr. 0152 563) of I./SKG 10 involved in collision on take-off at Poix-Nord airfield, pilot uninjured, 100%
16 April 1943: Fw 190 A-5 (W.Nr. 0152 723) of I./SKG 10 involved in collision on take-off at Poix-Nord airfield, pilot uninjured, 100%
