Watched Discovery tonoght and there was an article on the FRITZ-X bomb, the german man re-constructing a model of the bomb was the son of a german Luftwaffe pilot with the surname Buhl? Would you know if this pilot you are looking for info on was his father? Not sure if you have seen the documentary so this might not make to much sense.
Please let me know if you have any info on the pilot in question.
