1./KG1 Heinkel He111H-3. Returned damaged by fighters north of Sevenoaks following attack on Biggin Hill 1.30 p.m. BM Uffz Rudolf Schroth killed, BS Flgr Kurt Scheunert badly wounded - admitted to hospital in Amiens, rest of crew unhurt. Aircraft 20% damaged but repairable.
