Re: polnische Jagdflieger versus die Luftwaffe
BTW, this book, one of the most well know, for Polish readers interested in military aviation + many others as a standard lecture in primary Polish schools for tens years, since WW II.
This book was re-edited in 1943 or so in occupied Poland, in Warsaw, and was readed one or so year after his first edition in England.
Of course it was illegal and German did not like it, you maight be punished for printing or reading it then (send to one of many German concentration camp).
A few years ago (one or so), National Geography Polish edition, has edited a few tens photos coming from Arkady Fiedler private archive (there is his privat museum founded by family, he died in 1985), which were done during his stay in IX 1940 with pilots from 303 Dywizjon Myśliwski PSP.
A few months ago was edited by MMP a book in English, written by Czech Jiri Rajlich about one of top ace from 303 Squadron Jozef Frantisek, title is: Hurricane Ace Josef Frantisek. The True Story.
Very good done research. This book has just now also its Polish edition.
Just now has been also edited a huge book in Polish written by J. Kutzner about 303 Dywizjon and his combats during BoB.
Regards,
MirekW
