At first glance I will say yes! BUT:
1/ Black/Red number? They used to be white bordered in JG53, didn't they?
2/ It seems there is a band around rear fuselage...
Since it doesn't look like a RV plane I'm thinking this is an orthochromatic picture, a yellow band and a Yellow 6, black outlined.

Next. Number style is quite unusual too, thick and short.

Here are my thoughts: Each time we get a new plane picture we go straight to usual units/group/Staffeln, and if we are lucky enough to see an emblem, better. And I'm sure many times we are missing something.

So, to make short, why not an Egr./JG53 bird??? Hmmmm...?

Of course I don't know, and it's just a free speculation. But telling the truth I'm very relucant just to put "JG53. "Schwarze/Rote 6" down in my database.
