Hi Rémi,
I assume that it's just a mistake made by the British. I'm not aware that such a subtype existed and I never found any evidence (photos, accounts) from I./KG66 veterans that they ever had such a type. As can be shown from the list by Seaplanes (Thank you, BTW!), I only knew that at this stage of the war they flew the Ju 188 D-2.
But maybe experts like Ed North and Artie Bob can enlighten us about this aircraft by judging from the W.Nr.?
