Re: Me. 110 damaged in operation Weserübung (The attack on Vaerloese airfield, Denmark)
Finally, I remembered this picture from a Danish book, "Angrebet på Værløse Flyveplads den 9. april 1940" by Hans. A. Schrøder (Flyvevåbnets Bibliotek).
The picture are supposed to have been taken from the area around Jonstrup Seminarium, showing a Messerschmitt Bf. 110 under the attack and pupils watching from the fence around the airfield.
The original origin og the picture is uncertain, but it was common thesse days that the local population took pictures of and around the airfield as there was not that many aircraft flying around these days.
