most III./JG 54s NVM for the summer/fall 1942 period are damaged by fire,
especially on the lower part of the form, where you find the signature and the date.
Looking at the undamaged reports you will see, that these were filed within a few days after the loss happened and that Hptm Seiler usually signed. So IMHO no stange things about them:
