Re: Upturned He 111 9K + JL

Hi Steve,

There are definitely some around - somewhere! I have had part copies in the past, unfortunately lost with a load of other documents, books etc, that were 'borrowed'.

The diary I had listed all aircraft activity on a daily basis for a particular unit, loads of mundane stuff but also listing aircraft mishaps with brief damage details, many WNrs and codes, aircraft sent away (presumably for repair), and new aircraft coming onto the books. It also had some personnel movements, from memory. Pages were A3, with screw down covers. I definitely got the impression that it was more a standard type item than locally produced.

I also had several pages of maintenance/repair logs from one of the French based repair workshops with all sorts of detail, and a few individual aircraft load/ CofG cards. I think that the pilot got these prior to take-off for balance/trim purposes. I'm sure that I still have one of these somewhere that I'll have to dig out.

If someone could suggest what the actual names were for these items it might help in searching for others (I know that I won't be getting mine back, unfortunately).

Regards,

David
