If I believe Wiktionnary the word for House is
hiša in Slovenian not hisa, S and Š being two different letters. Note; this is a typical indo-européen word/root giving house in english, haus in german, hus in saxon and huis in dutch I presume. Huis in french did change its meaning from house to door... since it's obvious that when you close the door, you close the house! Last, this is exactly the same word used in "aujourd'hui"... Which, initialy was the day to open the door for the weekly/monthly market day: "Le jour d'huis".
Where am I??? Ach! with a Bf109F-4!! in April 1943!
Anyway, why not Peter? But the signature is Günther Eberhard as is the name on picture's back, isn't it? but it seems too that only 13.(Slow.)/JG 52 had F-4 in February 1943... And the only Günther Eberhard I found came from JG 51!!!!
Since you use, my dear Peter, to take your holidays in Croatia - I do remember some pictures - maybe you'll be able to translate ALL the writings, aren't you?
