Precisely Chris, the wing leading edge camo, with underside blue coming up - and Cross size - heigth & length, not width - are very helpful to check JG 2 planes avoiding boring research; how did you call that once "Idiosyncratic"?...

Concerning the ground, I don't agree with you; I pretend it's the same with those flowers/blossom. There is, too, a slight ground slope which is not on white 5 picture, and propeller blade tip combined with a small angle from the vertical. Last (?) the starboard canon is located in a dark painted rectangle...
But you're right, that's the only possible candidate I've found together with White 3.
