I'm afraid that I can't provide any pictures or further information as I'm working from a contemporary document dated 1942 which describes wreckage from a crash site that had been cleared a year before. The goal is to try to identify the type of aircraft involved from this minimal information. A long shot I know, but it's all I have at the moment.
