Re: Identity of Stuka Knights Cross holder sought!
Combing through the Obermaier book about Stuka and ground-attack Ritterkreuz holders, the fellow appears to be:
HAKER, Theodor (“Bubi”).

(R, DKG).
c.10.40 Oberfähnrich trf to 7./St.G. 77.
c.06.42 Staka 2./St.G. 77.
c.07.42 appt Staka 3./St.G. 77.
13.09.42 Lt., awarded Ehrenpokal.
04.43 Oblt., Staka 6./St.G. 77.
17.05.43 Oblt., awarded DKG, 2./St.G. 77.
29.02.44 Oblt., awarded Ritterkreuz, Staka 6./S.G. 77.
25.07.44 Staka 3. or 6../SG 77, MIA.
25.07.44 MIA - shot down in the Lvov area and rather than be captured by the partisans, he shot himself but merely became blinded; German troops tried to rescue him and his gunner, by which point three days later he was dead.
Credited with over 900 combat missions.
We hope that this helps.
