Hi guys

Prien has the following for Diergardt:

11 August 1942: Leutnant Rolf Diergardt, Staffelführer of 9./JG 3, missing in Bf 109 F-4 "Yellow 10" (W.Nr. 10 237) following aerial combat, engine hit, Stalingrad area, 100%

I can say that occasionally there do appear to be minor errors in what Bergström or others have written. For example, in Jagdwaffe War in the East 1944-1945 by Bergström and Pegg which I just obtained yesterday and scanned through I already noticed a few errors:

Page 128: IV./JG 51 did not receive Fw 190 A-8 fighters until April 1945
Page 131: that is not Oberfeldwebel Wilhelm Philipp but Oberleutnant Hans Philipp (note Eichenlaub)
Page 159: Leutnant Friedrich Krakowitzer was killed on 4 July 1944 in Normandy therefore he could not have been present on or after 31 March 1945
