On Sunday 15th May, RAF Bomber Command veterans will be in attendance at the Tangmere Museum Family Day as part of the public launch of Laurence Green's book Great War to Great Escape, which tells the story of Great Escaper Flight Lieutenant Bernard 'Pop' Green MC (F/Lt Green was a Bomber Command air gunner with No.44 Squadron). Laurence, the author and Bernard's grandson, will also be there. The veteran signings will be in support of the Bomber Command Memorial Fund. The current list of veterans is as follows:
