Hi Guys

Fritz Mrotzeck was an Unteroffizier then Feldwebel with 2./JG 3, claiming nineteen Russian aircraft between 1st July 1942 and 5th November 1942, but then disapears until he re-emerges as a Leutnant and Staffelkapitan of 1./JG 3 on 2nd november 1944, he was killed in combat with Allied aircraft on 18th December 1944. However I have a Feldwebel Mrotzek claiming a B-17 on 17th August 1943 at 1257 hrs with Industrial Staffel Regensburg. Can anybody confirm or deny that this is the same person, or explain/and explain what he was doing in the two years that I lose him, or even a date of birth would be great.
