At approx. 10.30 hrs 6 Spitfires - according to the KTB of the 39.Inf.Div. - attacked Flakships of the Übungs-Verbandes Wachtel off Terneuzen (Westerscheld river).
This report isn't supported by other KTB's and nothing whatsoever is mentioned in the WD of Foreman though these books can't be claimed as complete diaries.
Who knows which squadron undertook that shipping recce?
