Interestingly, I also found that the file contains Italian translation of the OBS reports, at least for certain periods. The file is not well ordered, and it contains the following:
a) daily Italian Comando Supremo report by Gen. Fougier on the German activities
b) some Italian pre-translation of OBS report
c) some German originals of OBS report.
This does include activities, losses, claims, recce results.
Below an example:
Quote:
Comando Supremo
Received by teletype at 1810/1825 on 21/12/41
From Superaereo to Com. Supremo and Supermarina
No. 1348
We transmit the following telegram from the R. Aeronautica General at the staff of C-i-C South.
Five Ju 88 II/KG77 took off 1050 and landed 1230. Attacked naval base La Valetta. Two planes at 1136 dive-bombed (attaccato in picchiata) from 1,500 m a battleship. Another two attacked merchant vessels, and the fifth attacked living areas. Results not observed due to bad weatehr. Precise reaction by AA. Six 1,000kg and six 500kg bombs dropped. From the visual reconnaissance it appears no change compared to yesterday's situation.
