Well Christian and Jim P...it appears that we have 2 x Max Brandenburg bomber pilots!

Those figures of shipping sunk, provided by Christian, match those in Brutting's book....but Brutting indicates that the ships were sunk in the Black Sea, not the Mediterranean. KG 51 was quite active in that
area during 1941-42.

Does anyone else have anything?
