Leutnant Walter Warthol/Warthog 3(F) 123 - 1944

Does anyone have any information about Leutnant Walter Warthol (Or Warthog, spelling uncertain) of 3(F) 123 who flew recon Bf 109Gs over English ports pre D-Day?

Seems to have been a great roller-coaster ride at 12,000 meters, everything open but the toolbox, GM1 pumping away. Shame about the clouds (there's no countermeasure to English weather).

He was the subject of ADI9K) Report 486/1944. 26 August 1944, National Archives RG 498, entry UD 231, box 1258.
