Here is what we have about this fellow in our officer career files:
FABER, Alfred. (DOB: 09.06.11 in Dresden). 01.04.43 promo to Hptm. (Kr.O.). c.08.10.43 Hptm., appt Staka 8./JG 1 (to 03.11.43). 03.11.43 KIA – shot down by heavy bombers and P-47s in the area of Emden and crashed vic Ameland. Buried at Varel.

Faber, Alfred. Hptm 6/9/1911 Dresden Stfkpt 8./JG-1 (11/43) Bf 109G-6 Werk # 15935 "Black 1" (lost) Fighter Operational Clasp KIA 3 November, 1943 during aerial combat in "Black 1" with American escort fighters at Herrenhausen, near Wilhelmshaven. He crashed into the North Sea near Ameland. Buried in Varel Germany, Row 3/13 (Geensen).
Husser, Fritz Ofw 2 IV/JG-1, 8/JG-1 Bf 109G-6/R6, Fw90A-4 Werk # 583 "White 10" EK 1 & 2, Fighter Operational Clasp One known victory, his 1st (in "White 10"), a B-17 on 22 June, 1943. A 2nd B-17 (e.V.) W of Delmenhorst on 25 June, 1943. On 28 July, 1943, "White 10" was lost when Uffz Karl Knespel crashed and was killed.
Ries, Georg Uffz 8/JG-1 Bf 109G-6 Werk # 160349 "Black 3" (lost 11/3/43) Fighter Operational Clasp KIA 3 November, 1943 during aerial combat with P-38 escorts at Neuharlingersiel. No known grave. Source: J. Geensen.
