Uffz. Helmut Kirstein, JG 51
Hello,
Uffz. Helmut Kirstein, 8./JG 51 pilot with at least 8 victory claims, was reported missing after an aerial combat with Russian fighters north-west of Vitebsk on 12 February 1944. Does anybody have the usual loss data (such as exact subtype and WNr. of his Fw 190A, tactical code, possibly a more accurate location...) for this pilot? Many thanks in advance for any help.
