On 1st.Aug. 1940 a Hs126 of 4(H)/31 was shot down 10miles south of Hastings by Hurricanes of 145 Sqd, with one missing and one body washed ashore on 13th. Aug. During the combat the Hurricane of Sub.Lt. Kestin was shot down into the sea pilot killed.
