If Falcon is not right about a Dewoitine have you considered a P40? The spinner looks a little too pointed for a Hurricane and the leading edge of the wing a little too straight.- and also the exposed engine seems too "lumpy" for a Merlin. I believe the French Air Force had some at the start of the war although I seem to recall a different designation at that stage.
