Moral of the story, always take into consideration that English is not the mother tongue of everybody who posts, that way misunderstandings like this are less likely to happen... (thanks also to those who got involved outside of the forum... you know who you are)
Now back to the discussion...
The caption to the photo in post #152 simply states that these Bf109G-6's or Bf109G-14's possibly belonged to a Jagdfliegerschule and that the yellow band after of the balkenkreuz became an identification device for all training units...
