I do not dare to discuss Bf 109 matters with you, since you seems to have a very huge knowledge about this aircraft; however, could it be a JG 2 machine? I remember seeing a very similar photograph, of a Bf 109 F model from JG 2, on the book "La Luftwaffe attaque a L'Ouest" by Editions Heimdal.
I am just adding a comment...as I said, I do not dare to discuss Bf 109 matters with PROS like yourself...kkk.
