www.allaces.ru it has Ml.Lt Vladimir Fedorovich Konin listed as flying an I-153 with the 12 KOAE KBF but on checking the OBD it has him listed as pilot with the 3 AE, 71 IAP KBF and KIA in an air battle on the 27Aug41 in the Kopore region. Also listed as KIA in the Tallin region Kapitan Vladimir Fedorovich Poltorak of the 5 AE, 71 IAP KBF on an I-16. I didn't notice any deaths for the 12 KOAE for that day so they might have just been part of the escort and no losses. It looks like no "overclaiming" that day but under claiming.
