This emblem has appeared in an eBay Luftwaffe photo album
here. There are not many aircraft in the album, so it might not be an air unit. Aircraft which are present include several Ju87. The emblem is placed next to photos taken in Italy, although again there might not be a direct connection.
I assume that the letters in the top left hand corner are GdS. I can only find this in use with Umschulstaffel GdS (General der Schlachtflieger). The unit had Ju87s and was used to reform 8./StG151 in August 1944…. But I can find absolutely nothing else about this unit? ….it could explain the Ju87s in the album. Any further details on this unit and/or the emblem would be much appreciated.
