IV./KG 77 missions against England (1942)
Hello,
In the course of 1942 the IV./KG 77 was moved from Laon-Couvron to Bourges airfield. When she was there, this “Gruppe” carried out training missions while carrying out – in the same time - attacks against England. Somebody knows if this unit used a secondary or intermediate airfield as KG 27 (...when she was at Bourges) made it with the Dinard airfield in Brittany? Why IV./KG 77 didn’t stay at Laon-Couvron? The distance was shorter to reach London or south England.
