Our EOE Luft Loss DB listing is:
"Sept. 27, 1940: 15.(Z)/LG1 Messerschmitt Bf110C-2 (3533). Intercepted by fighters during free-lance sortie and both engines damaged in attacks by several pilots including Sgt G.A. Steward of No.17 Squadron, P/O A.E. Johnson, and Sgt R.F. Sellers of No.46 Squadron, F/O J.F. Drummond of No.92 Squadron, P/O K.T. Lofts and P/O J.R.B. Meaker, and Sgt H.J. Davidson of No.249 Squadron, and Sgt J. Budzinski of No.605 Squadron. Belly-landed near Socketts Manor at Oxted 9.45 a.m. FF Oberlt Otto Weckeiser captured unhurt, BF Gefr Horst Brüsgow captured wounded. Aircraft L1+LL 100% write-off.
Rate of climb indicator, removed at the time of the crash, now held by Steve Vizard."
