Gents,
the point to make me feel getting ape is still the same since about 10 years or more. All interpretations of real colours to turn out of b/w-pictures are depending on whether the shots were taken on panchromatic or on orthochromatic material.
Orthochromatic films are sensitive to green and blue.
Panchromatic films are sensitive to red and black.
Within differing light-angles, more or less brightness, shades etc. it is very difficult to decide which real colour matches.
Still a challenge for software-developers to turn out a somewhat useful tool for a huge community...
