This pub now a Beefeater Restaurant, was a favourite of all the Sqns based at RAF Northolt all through WW2 especially in Battle of Britain and was later adopted by the Poles.

The Orchard has a large model of a Spitfire circa 1/7th scale mounted on a pole (no pun intended) in the garden near the main enterance. The Spitfire carries RF codes.
