Batte of Britain pubs quoted in 'Eagle Day' are Biggin Hill pilots The White Hart at Brasted (not certain if it is not now a rebuild), Gravesend pilots Charles Dicken's beloved Leather Bottle at Cobham, Middle Wallop pilots The Black Swan at Monxton ( nicknamed The Mucky Duck)
