Re: Hptm.v.Konschegg KG40
"Lambert Konschegg" brings up 2,440 hits on Google, including several that detail his life before, during and after the war. He was also a close personal friend of Franz Selinger (DOB 1915), the Luftwaffe veteran and postwar author of several books on Luftwaffe weather squadron operations, particularly those flown from Norway. Selinger served with von Konschegg in the pre-war Austrian Air Force. In correspondence with me some 20 years ago, Selinger said v. Konschegg was an ardent aviator, anti-Nazi, true to his beloved Austria and a very nice and likeable fellow. He was not a militarist.
