The person is Ogfr Wendenburg, Helfried, who was killed 18 July 1940 in Ju 52/3m See, 5701, RM+AL, at Gabinkirchen (Notlandung infolge Brand im Heckstand. Bruch 100 %.). He was Schreiber from 2./606 and passenger in this aircraft.
Obviously his parents gave this picture as a memory to somebody according to the text.
