22nd February 1944 B-17 8km South of Antwerp 1605hrs 6000 metres Nr.18
First fifteen were with 8./Jg2, the last five with 10./Jg2.
Can anybody expalin what happened to him after his last claim on 22nd February 1944, I can find no loss for him after this date, or no actual times he was shot down and survived prevously. What was he doing for two years between claiming on 7th September 1940 and 23rd November 1942?
What was his Date of birth?, if he did(as I suspect) survive the war, when did he die.
I have little information on Jg2 losses for the first half of 1944, so my second thought is that he may have been lost in the Spring on 1944.
Grateful as ever for any assistance.
Kind Regards
Johannes
