Hpt. Lothar Baumann and his victory on July 8th, 1944
Gentlemen I'm looking for information about Hpt. Lothar Baumann and his victory over an P-38 on July 8th, 1944. Hpt. Baumann was with the Stab I./JG 77. It is reported that he shot down a P-38 at Lambordy 11:05 h during the return to the italian front. Here my questions:
a.) Where is Lambordy located?
b.) was his victory 2Lt. Henry Donald Mitchell, MIA?
c.) any further information about Hpt. Baumann and that chase available?
