Seeking photos of 4./JG26 Bf109E-4 W12+- of Oblt Hans Krug, StaKap, FL 07.09.40 at Pluckley, Kent
Hello,
I'm seeking photos for the above a/c of Oblt. Hans Krug, which FL on Sheerlands Farm Pluckley, Kent. England on Sept. 7, 1940. Several decades ago, possibly in the old "RAF Flying Review" magazine I seem to remember seeing a photo of a 4 Staffel insignia cut out of the side of the a/c at the time. However, I've never seen any photos of this "White 12" after it crashed. Is anyone aware of the existence of any photography of this a/c down at Pluckley, or possibly on display later, or does anyone have a color photograph of the insignia rescued from the side of this a/c?
