Re: loss of Arados

Hello Larry,

So, 4./126 never left Crete, the order was recalled. But i have some doubts about the leaving of the whole 2./125.
According to the war diary of this unit, they arrived in Athens at 08.01.42 and then between 21.02.42 and 10.04.42 they were transfered gradually to Crete.
At the 12th of May 1942, 3 Arados 196 were ordered to the black Sea (8. Seenotstaffel Constanza) to fight Submarines.
04.10.43 in Suda 4./126 came from 2./125 to existance.
Apparently only a part of 2./125 was ordered to move to Constanza-Mamaia.
Some losses are known (7R+HK, 7R+AK, 7R+FK, 7R+BK, 7R+IK).

my best regards
Byron
