The pics of White G are very interesting. Ive been working on something for the past few days and there seems to be some confusion. White G belonged to Uffz. Paul Wacker who was forced down at Corfe Castle on 30/11/40.the pilot was from 2./JG27 but the A/C was from II.(Schl.)/LG 2 with the WNr. 6313F. There is a pic of this aircraft on the ground in the Osprey Aviation Elite book JG27.In this pic you can also see that the A/C appears to have victory bars at the top of the rudder. In one of the pics Ed has posted you can quite clearly see the WNr. 1289 on the tail with what appear like two victory bars close to it, thing is 1289 is the preserved example at Saxonwald South Africa marked Red 2 formerly of 2./JG26 flown by Uffz Heinz Wolf and forced down at Udimore on 28/11/40. There isn’t much left of the empennage on the surviving A/C, so at some time it must have been lent to Wackers A/C which seems strange because in the Osprey pic the tail of Wackers A/C seems perfectly ok.
I’m sure that some of our more knowledgeable members can add more details and fill in some of the gaps.
