Whatever, I think that number style match much more with JG 26 than JG 3 which is given on Falcon site from a book caption.
Oostvlekeren is in Ypres area ... See Prien Teil 3. One lost in June... but not necessarily that one since the picture doesn't seem to depict a 50% damage plane.
And JG 3 in this area at that time?
