Ultra makes pretty good sense overall on
1./NAG 1 and the Me 262. It does look like the
Staffel (and definitely the ground echelon) was in Herzogenaurach but the jets were not. They had not been allocated their Me 262s as late as 15 March 1945, although the inference is that they are about to get them.
