Seeking photos relating to Maj Harry Carl GrKdr II./ZG2 KIA 16.8.40

Hello,

The recent acquisition by our EoE research team of a photo of the memorial plaque at the site of the grave of Maj Harry Carl, GrKdr of II./ZG2, KIA 16.8.40, prompts me to seek the following photos to help us complete the story of this officer:

1) A photo of Maj. Harry Carl as Gr Kdr.

2) Any photo, other than noted below, of the Bf110D, A2+AB, of Stab I./ZG52, later Stab II./ZG2.

3) Any photo of Carl's crashed a/c in which he was killed on 16.8.40. We have a photo of his Bordfunker, Uffz. Wilhelm Maier, possibly showing the front and cockpit area of this Bf110D, which is probably A2+AB.

We carry this loss in our Luft EoE DB as:

"August 16, 1940: Stab II./ZG2 Messerschmitt Bf110D. Damaged in combat with fighters over the Channel and crashed 6 km south of Beuzeville on return flight. FF Major Harry Carl (Gruppenkommandeur) and BF Uffz Wilhelm Maier both killed. Aircraft 100% write-off.

Can anyone help?

Regards,
