Kim,
Since your He-219 rear seat had the radar mask, wouldn't that make it impossible to have the MG 15 mounted in the rear cockpit?
Your picture Camera 1 Row 14, pic. 1,2 and compared with NASM mask. (attached ).
Also, your lasted restored item looks similar to the tool used to remove the Schrag Muzik cannons.
