Re: Loss Lists for Stukagruppen on the Eastern Front during Barbarossa

Jason,

to my knowledge there are no reports on the distribution of different types of the Ju 87 within the Stukageschwader for the 1941 period. The "Bewegungslisten" with such information only beginn in March 1942.

Perhaps the losses reported to the Generalquartiermeister can give you an answer to your question:

GQM reports a total of 319 Stukas lost or damaged on the Ostfront in 1941. Of these 13 were listed without any subtype, 71 were B-1, 43 were B-2, 16 were R-1, 105 were R-2 and 71 were R-4. This makes 113 B-type Stukas compared to 192 R-type. So the distribution whas roughly 1/3 Bs and 2/3 Rs.

From 22. June 41 to the end of that year another more than 200 Stukas were reported lost or damaged fighting against Commonwealth-troops in the MTO.

HTH
