a Book i read.said a P51 pilot chased a german 262 jet.ran out of ammo.and got next to the jet. the German pilot'thumbed his nose jokinkly''and the P51 pilot drew his colt out and fired his pistol at the engines.
he saw the jet crash land..
and states he did shoot it down with his hand gun.and didnt get comfirmation on it..bittterly...
