Re: Mosquito MM678 crash near Tienen/Tirlemont

Hello,
Leendert : as you suggested, I've found as well:
- on october 6th the Mosquito MM574 P/O Haley 409 sqn/2TAC was damaged by debris from a Ju-88 and they abandoned the a/c near Brussels &
- on october 7th Mosquito MM512 W/O N; JOSS (MIA) 409 sqn/2TAC was hit by "friendly fire, possibly HK 381 (source: Peter Celis' book: Runways to Victory )
Mhuxt: thanks for the really detailed information about 711280 ...but what about the second JU-88 as suggested by
Alain 57 :
06-10-44 / /07-10-44
Ju88G-11 NJG1
Werknumber 714460
crewmembers :Kurzec Albert Uffz. +
Achenbach Friedrich Gefr. +
Blumberg Günther Gefr. +
Bobikat Otto Ogefr. +
Is there any information about the date & crashsite of this aircraft ?

It's getting very interesting ... I'm speechless about your comments and detailed data.
Much obliged Gentlemen!
Regards
